Ep. 4 - Alices and Rabbits and Queens, Oh My!
As we become older, we become wiser, selective, more decided and secure. Perhaps less spontaneous, though. We don’t believe in witches, wizards, Santa Claus or monsters under our bed (well, we wish for devils in it, but that’s a different post). We still believe in love at first sight but we know that not everything at first sight is love. Lust happens so often at a first glance and in the short term may become as important in our lives, as love.
We live in a society that consumes us and we become hungry for love. But in a world with heart failure, love ever so often gives way to plain lust. Like sushi: so delicious and so little calories, but after 45 minutes you’re hungry again for a cheeseburger.
Are we living a low love life on a high lust diet?
The problem is that we don’t find the time anymore for the important things of our lives. We keep running around trying to keep up and we only find space for quick, uncompromising dates and risk missing running over love.
Is love an Alice is Wonderland and are we all rabbits late for a very (un)important date? Are we to become Queens of Dates and never of Hearts? Os should we change fables, and follow the yellow brick road?

Sweeties, believe me: its possible the “love at first sight”. Being there, done that…

I didn’t say it wasn’t… I just said that not everything is love at first sight, like when we are younger…
