Ep. 8 - Dreams… Part II
I dream a lot and I remember my dreams in detail. Some are recurrent, all are absurd, even if based upon a very serious matter. Like the affairs we have, the patterns are recurrent, their meaning many times absurd, even if all walking on the serious road to love.
My uncle was in New York recently and he bought me a very nice gift: a Dream Catcher. It’s basically a circle with some feathers under it and in the circle you have some sort of web. It perpetuates one of the most beautiful stories in Indian Mythology. It is said that good and bad dreams circulate in the night air. The loop, its center woven in a web-like pattern, allows the good dreams to pass through the web into the sleeper, but makes bad dreams become entangled in the web, where they perish at the first light of dawn.
With us, circling in hope to find the man of our dreams do we dream of a web to catch the wrong ones? Or should we do without webs and just have good fun with the bad guys? Is that so bad?
The other day I came across this guy. It had been more than a year since I had last seen him. He was an old fuck. We had a new fuck. And it was a great fuck. Which made me wonder whatever happened for us to stop fucking. Couldn’t really figure out a reason except that maybe, after a lot of great fucks, you may not see them as that great. But who cares about it now?! The fucks are back to greatness and he was definitely one of the wrong guys, caught in the web, rescued by me willing to have some good fun. That’s why my dream catcher is hanging on the door of my bedroom and I should remember to check it, every now and then, to see what got caught… one never knows!

I beleive it’s not Indian, but Native American’s Mythology!

And it’s really really beutiful ritual. The Shaman (it’s ike a priest) makes the dream catchers web while you are high on something!!!! HAHAHA!
Oh, the dream catcher should be on the north side of your bed (so, if it’s at your door, it’s fine).
I also have one, but it didn’t came from NYC…
Luv u babe
