There are times when life calls out for a change. A transition. Like the seasons. Our spring was wonderful, but summer is over now and we missed out on autumn. And now all of a sudden, it’s cold, so cold that everything is freezing over. Our love fell asleep, and the snow took it by surprise.
What a delicious evening I’m having!
Right after a very special coffee with a very special someone I’m just getting to know, I went to rent a film for the rest of the evening! Finally I got my hands on one copy of “Paris, Je T’aime“! uff… Beautiful…

Yesterday I booked my flight to go see miss Jill Scott live in Zurich (those were he only available tickets on the European Tour). I can’t believe that finally, after being a fan since the beginning (her first album was released in 2000), I’m seeing her live. It’ll be the showcase of her latest album - “The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3” - and I’m sure it will be nothing less than amazing!
On that trip I’m going to finally see my friends Viet and Simon again! We had a great time in the summer!! And hopefully do some hiphop classes with Viet!
Can’t wait ’till the 28th!!

There is a scene from «Alice in Wonderland» (the cartoon, you perverts!!!!) where Alice meets the caterpillar who tells her that one side of the mushroom will make her grow taller and the other side will make her grow shorter. Not knowing which side will do what, she decides to try both. By taking a bite of one side she grows to be too tall, by taking a bite of the other she grows to be too short. And by just licking the growing side, she grows back to her normal height!
How sexual is that?! Eating from either sides of a caterpillar’s mushroom to make yourself grow shorter or taller?!
The other day I came upon a foreign guy who wanted sex (don’t we all?), he wanted good sex (idem), he wanted good and lasting sex (yeah I got it!!!). For that, he asked me if I could get him some Viagra. I asked him what for. So that we could fuck for hours and hours - he replied. Do you think I have all the time in the world to fuck for hours and hours? – I asked! Well, if I take a viagra, that’s how long the effect lasts. Can’t we get to some kind of compromise, like we fuck for a couple of hours and you take care of yourself for the remaining time? No – he said – when I take a Viagra I have to have sex for hours. Did you see what Alice did with the mushroom’s growing side? – I asked him – She just licked it! If you lick a pill of Viagra maybe I’ll suck you, but guarantee you hours of sex is not my idea of wonderland.
Just how the caterpillar disappeared, so did he, and I «grew» back to my normal life. Maybe I’ll never know who painted the roses red but I know the balance between a quickie and good sex… for hours and hours it takes a very special someone… or it’s just too much.

My tonight’s date was breathtaking: “El Laberinto del Fauno”. I was taken on a fantasy trip through the imaginary of a child that could exist in all of us.
The film is so brilliant that it received 22 minutes of applause at the Cannes Film Festival and 3 Oscars: Best Achievement in Art Direction, Best Achievement in Cinematography and Best Achievement in Makeup.
Good thing I decided to stay home tonight!!

Ah! Finally I got the time and the guts to update the Wordpress instalation on this blog.
The Wonderful Life of Mr.WannaB is now proudly running Wordpress 2.3.1!
Some things did not upgrade smoothly, like my “memories” section, so don’t freak out if you don’t see anything there for a while!!
I also placed a little ad banner on the bottom of the page, courtesy of Google AdSense, that can hopefully finance the server costs of this baby! (so please click one of the ads once in a while!!!!!!)
