The Sex, the city and a loud premier!

The Sex, the city and a loud premier!

You know, it’s weird - I havn’t cried very much at all. Maybe you’re only allowed certain amount of tears per man - and I used mine up.

And maybe you’re only allowed a certain amount of tears per series… and I definitely used mine up on the season 6 ending!!! (a kiss to my friend Tufas who saw me burst in tears on the finale! - so fuckin’ queer!).

Please read the post below - my dearest Ser.Calvin wrote the most beautiful and fabulous review about the movie. I can’t say anything more, I make his words my own.

Peace and much love ;)

My Blueberry Nights

My Blueberry Nights

It took me nearly a year to get here.

It wasn’t so hard to cross that street after all, it all depends on who’s waiting for you on the other side.

My Blueberry Nights, a beautiful film with astonishing photography, very caracteristic to the director - Wong Kar Wai. I honestly recomend you seeing this film.

Finding Shelter overlooking the Pacific…

Finding Shelter overlooking the Pacific…

Tonight I finally got the chance to watch the movie Shelter - A gay-themed movie that portraits the story of a young man going though some life-altering decisions. I have to say it is definitely a beautiful movie - from the breathtaking cinematography to the story, not forgetting the involving soundtrack… bliss. This movie came in the perfect timing…

(Tori) You don’t belong to people forever…

(Zach) Then why bother?

(Tori) Isn’t it worth it?

(Zach) Yeah…

I’m not gonna show you the trailer (but you can see it on youtube). Instead I’ll post a video of the soundtrack single (an artist published by the same company that produced and distributed the movie). The video has some great footage from the movie and the music is beautiful…

Peace and much love ;)

Hot or Not #20: James Marsden

Hot or Not #20: James Marsden

This past Saturday I went to the movies with my friend Ser.Calvin to see the romantic comedy 27 Dresses. I wasn’t expecting much out of it, but it turned out to be one of those light movies that make you take out a big smile with you on your way home (maybe because I’m a hopeless romantic). Anyway, even though Katherine Heigl is cute, my attention was drawn to the absolutely delicious James Marsden. I’ve been meaning to post him here for a long time. Now is the time!

I’m not going to post a video of 27 Dresses. Instead I’m going to show you the trailer to one of my favorite movies. It’s not a blockbuster though, but it has the brilliant Glen Close and even Rufus Wainwright (lol). The movie is called Heights, it’s from 2005 and, if you haven’t seen it, go and rent it out TODAY!!

Peace and much love ;)

Hot or Not #19: Matthew Bomer

Hot or Not #19: Matthew Bomer

On this weeks “Hot or Not” I present to you Mr. Matthew Bomer (easily mistaken for “Boner”, which I beleive to be much more accurate actually!!!).

I’ve been wanting to post him here ever since I saw him on Tru Calling and then on Traveler. Now I just realized he stars in the prequel to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre… I don’t seem to remember it, but I’m sure I’ve seen it!!

As usual, a nice video below to brighten up your week! ;)

Peace ;)

The Nines

The Nines

Tonight I finally got the chance to rent a copy of Ryan Reynolds latest movie: “The Nines“.

I had no idea what the movie was about, but I’ve read it was by the producers of “American Beauty” (one of my favourite movies) and from the writers of “Big Fish”. Oh, yeah, and the lead is played by Ryan Reynolds
It was a darn strange movie, but I actually loved it

Here’s a sneak-peak clip and synopsis. Enjoy!

Gary, an actor who plays a cop on television, uses too much lighter fluid when he burns his ex-girlfriend’s things, drinks and drives, uses crack, and crashes his car. He sobers up in jail and is placed under house arrest and the watchful eye of a publicist, the cheery and tough-minded Margaret. She moves him into the empty house of a writer away in Canada on a shoot. He meets his attractive and seemingly-willing neighbor, Sarah, a friendship with Margaret blooms, and strange things happen: he finds notes he doesn’t remember writing, he hears noises, and he seems to bump into himself in the kitchen. Two remaining chapters reveal what’s going on.

The Sex, the city and things that never change

The Sex, the city and things that never change

Carrie (reading to a little girl): “… then Cinderella and the prince lived happily ever-after.” You know, things don’t always happen like this in real life. I just think you should know that now.

ohhhhhh… I can’t wait for the movie to premier! This new trailer is even more exciting than the teaser trailer I saw before! Check out the official website to see more videos (with way better quality!!) - www.sexandthecitymovie.com

Run away?

Run away?

Bob: Can you keep a secret? I’m trying to organize a prison break. I’m looking for, like, an accomplice. We have to first get out of this bar, then the hotel, then the city, and then the country. Are you in or you out?

Charlotte: I’m in. I’ll go pack my stuff.

Bob: I hope that you’ve had enough to drink. It’s going to take courage.

“Alone in Kyoto” - Delicious song by Air, on the Lost in Translation soundtrack (also found on Air’s “Talkie Walkie” album)
