Stay out super late tonight picking apples, making pies
put a little something in our lemonade and take it with us
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
Tiptoe through our shiny city
with our diamond slippers on
Do our gay ballet on ice
bluebirds on our shoulders
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
Turn the light out say goodnight
no thinking for a little while
lets not try to figure out everything it wants
It’s hard to keep track of you falling through the sky
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
we’re half-awake in a fake empire

Well, tonight I went along with my dear SerCalvin to see the musical “Sinatra Blue Eyes” down at the Tivoli Theater. It was a nice show, low budget but nice. If you are in Lisbon this weekend, I recommend you taking some time to see the musical! Check out on “Sapo Videos” the video with an interview from the cast.
The video above is of one of my favorite Sinatra tunes - “Come Fly With Me” - sang by the delicious yummy Michael Bublé (video taken from the his live DVD).
Peace and much love

Funny thing this nostalgia I’ve been feeling about my teenager CD’s… Today (again looking for a soundtrack to my morning start) I discovered my collection of Everlast CD’s. Coincidence or not, It was exactly what I wanted and needed to hear today.
The video below was the first song I’ve heard of Everlast (a.k.a. Erik Schrody, Whitey Ford or Mr. White) - What it’s Like - from the album Whitey Ford Sings the Blues. I’ve heard him before on the hiphop group House of Pain (the famous Jump Around theme, of course), but it was only with this release that I noticed HIM. What a huge teenage boy crush I had over him!!!!! :
This mix of HipHop/Rap with acoustic Rock music and his deep voice is very interesting. I see him as the Cowboy Rapper… hehe!
I later (can’t remember the date) got the chance to see him live at the Lisbon Coliseum. The room was only half full… I guess he wasn’t that famous here, but the concert was beautiful and the crowd was very much in sync. I remember going alone to the concert… feeling kinda like I feel now. Oh, I think I still have the concert ticket hidden somewhere!!!
Other nice tracks/videos of Everlast:
Ends (The track is fenomenal, but this video on youtube has terrible quality)
Never been here before
Im intrigued, Im unsure
Im searching for more
Ive got something thats all mine
(got something thats all mine)
Ive got something thats all mine
(got something thats all mine)
Take me somewhere I can breathe
Ive got so much to see
This is where I want to be
In a place I can call mine (call mine)
In a place I can call mine (call mine)
A couple of days ago I read a post on Single White Male blog about the All Saints. Good memories I have of those times… Today, while looking for a soundtrack for my waking up (I always start my day with loud music at home, while I take a shower, shave, etc…), I stumbled upon a CD called All Saints Remixed. I thought it was a cd of remixes of their tracks, but it turned out to be so much more: they were indeed remixes, but they were mixed together in a non-stop All Saints extravaganza!!!! Delicious!
The video I posted above is one of my favorites, specially because it is from a film I adore - The Beach.
I hope you enjoy this little trip down memory lane with me!
On this weeks “Hot or Not” I present Mr. Ricky Martin. (I guess it’s the first time I present a guy who’s not an actor…). I also take this chance to ask another question: Gay or Not? hahahahha! He’s the typical (gay) kind of beautiful, the kind all of us picture as our boyfriend…
Ever since he let a beard grow he has become super sexy and the video below is the high point of this phase of him… ohhhhh sexy! (I also like the music… specially the part by Amerie, she’s fabulous there!!)
Peace and much love

hummm… I wonder what Mickey mouse club star is gonna colaborate with Madonna next… she has “done” Christina, Britney and now Justin! I wonder…
I bet loads and loads of blogs are posting right now the new video-clip by Madonna, “4 Minutes”, featuring Justin Timberlake, from the upcoming album “Hard Candy”. Well, I’m gonna be different and post a video of Ellen (I love Ellen) having fun with this addictive new sound! I also, honestly did not like the video… actually I think it is terrible… anyway…
UPDATE: The Ellen video was removed from youtube due to legal matters, so I’m replacing it with the next best thing I found… The Elle Magazine photo shoot for the cover of Madonna’s new album!
Peace and much love

Recently I purchesed the 2006 “Undiscovered” album by the young James Morrison and, even though it’s probably yesterdays news, I’d like to share it with you guys!
He debuted with the single “You give me something” (that was big a some lame tv soap-opera in portugal… LOL). It never really pushed me to get the album but, as I explored the iTunes store, I heard a small preview of the album and purchased it right then and there!
Here the video to one of the tracks from the album: “Wonderful World”.
Peace and much love
